Can anyone advise how I access/remove/replace the entire cigarette lighter unit on a W210 Mercedes E Class Estate? I have purchased a replacement unit and just want to fit it.

Any guidance would be most appreciated :)

looked on the epc...
looks like you remove the actual ash bit - as in when emptying - then underneath is one phillips screw...

If only I could get my EPC working.....

maybe under part 600?

edit - ah - screw 630 - two off. so i presume they are at the back of the unit, so you have to remove 650 / 655 first..

If it's anything like the w202, you have to remove the armrest first! :)

Thanks Shude but I suspect it is nothing like the w202 as it is nowhere near the armrest look at the pic posted by Guy and you can see clearly.....

The w202 ashtray isn't anywhere near the armrest either, but it shares a pair of screws with it!
