A friend of mine has a garage and they are having a clear out of some old parts stock, some of which I have been told is Mercedes. I'm keen to see what he has, as spares to use, sell on ebay etc. He has emailed me a list of the Merecedes part numbers, but with no descriptions. He's now gone away for a week on holiday and I have no idea what the parts are and whether to buy them!

Is there a way to input the part numbers into a website and get a brief description, to help me decide whether to make him an offer?

I sometimes just put them into google and it will come up! Although I see Howard has offered a proper site :D

Thanks guys...seems that this is for newer parts and I think his are older. As an example....this is one, which I know is a Right Rear Window Switch for a W124, but it doesn't come up on that site?

prefix numbers input to that site with 'A'

eg. A1248204710 Switch £26.29
