I have already requested that the picture be resized on the original thread here to no avail. I have no problem for it when at home but to horizontal scroll on a laptop is a nightmare.

No it doesn't Would be easier and more courteus surely if the pic size was just reduced so as to stop the horizontal scrolling issue on laptops. Not too much to ask?

To the top right of the image is an icon where you can shrink the news story (in this instance, the large image) so you don't see it, until a different news story is posted where you can re-expand the view again
