Hello, not long had the car as you know and as of yet no problems... It does however get to approx just over 100 degrees in traffic but i have never heard the fan kick in and wanted to test it to make sure its working.. once moving again at speed the temp cools back down to about 80.....

I have had a look but cannot see any wires or connections for me to test it .....and i have checked the fuse and thats ok....:dk:

Hit it with a large stick? I don't know if Mercedes have a special stick for testing fans, but if you had a Pontiac Firebird, there is a special one.......

Your model should have a normal belt driven fan with a viscous coupling for cooling the rad. The two front electric fans are associated with the aircon.
