How do you do links?

I have noticed that often a link to a web page is not the cup and paste of the address but just a phrase or a word in blue with a line under it.

How do you do that???

Use the little Globe ikon just above the text box.

Highlight the word in question, click the globe, paste in the url.

Simply -

• type the phrase or word you want to link...
  
• Then highlight it
  
• Then click the Hyperlink button (globe with apaper clip)
  
• and insert the link into the new window that pops up.

Done!

Wright message to go to, say, the Home Page of this site

Double click with left mouse button the word Home to highlight the word in black and white
Mouse over the icons until you find Insert Link, then click it
A box will appear which you type or paste the link, in his case http://www.mbclub.co.uk

Simple.

- Write the text that you want to turn into a link.
- Select it (highlight it).
- Click the button that gbjeppm posted a pic of.
- Type web address into the box that appears.
- Click OK.
- Job done.

Alternatively, you can use the actual code that the forum uses: (remove the spaces)

why does it come up with the web address written twice in succession in the address bar therefore not work?!?!

why does it come up with the web address written twice in succession in the address bar therefore not work?!?!

When it comes up twice, one bit will be in blue.
Don't click anything, just type and it will change. Then press save.
