Hi all 211 owners,

My 211 has a small tray to the right of the glove box - I presume it's for coins.

I managed to lose my fuel card down the back of of it and can't for the life of me find out how to get the tray out.

Any suggestions?

Oh dear. 3 days, 63 views and no answer yet.....

At this rate I'll have to RTFM....

If all else fails, use a hammer.

At least you've now got one suggestion...

....and I've cleared out some space in the inbox on this site if that is easier for you.

Place a single coin in it then park your car in Sittingbourne. Gone in seconds..

Over halfway there. Followed the instructions that Troon sent (THANKS!), got the unit out and retrieved my fuel card.

BUT there's a ratchet and spring assembly involved and of course the spring has popped out of wherever it was mounted and I simply can't see how to fit it.

Over to Troon.....:-)

Sorry, I'm out of resources here. Sounds fiddly. Mental note to self: don't remove coin tray...

Heh heh :-)

Not to worry - it's going into BSG for a service shortly so I'll get it sorted then.

At least I have my fuel card so I can (a) buy petrol and (b) buy some oil for said service.

Note to self; don't fill tray to the brim with shrapnel and then place valuable flat plastic on top.......

Troon, I have the same problem, this time the AA card and it is preventing the drawer from shutting, could you send the instruction please

Pop your email address up here (use "at" and "dot" etc rather than posting directly) and I'll send it through. You'll then be able to edit the address out if it's in time...
