How dose it work

Hi guys I am sure one of you can tell me how the heater booster on my C220 CDI works. I get warm air almost immediately long before the engine gets warm

There is an electric heating element in the ducting that warms the air for defrosting whilst the diesel engine warms up.

I doubt it (affordably) - but don't all MB diesels have them?

how quick are we talking about here? my 220cdi (W204) produces warm air quicker than my wifes VW diesel, but still nothing to write home about.

My last car (6cyl petrol BMW) was warm before it reached the end of the drive!

Really quick I have a 6cyl BMW also and its much quicker you access the on off function through the cars computer
