How easy to change rear door window w211?

guys,

has anyone changed a rear door window in a w211 before?

i gave the car a good clean this weekend, and have found 2 scratches in the rear door window on the outside which are fairly deep, Before i get a light smoke window tint done i was going to replace the window.

MB do not have any in stock even in germany so it might be a few weeks wait.

any tips appreciated!

Yes did one two weeks ago after a visit from the local chavs while the wife was walking the dog.

Remove ashtray
Remove trim under armrest and the two bolts.
Prise trim clips on both sides and bottom of door.
Lift trim up from bottom @ 45* and disconnect wiring to remove trim.
Remove rain shield.
Lower window 50mm and undo clamp.Then whilst holding the glass, lower window mechanism to the bottom and then let the glass slide into the bottom of the door.
Remove inner and outer metal and rubber wiper strips from the door by lifting them vertically.
Remove rear rubber channel and at the very top is a 30 torx screw.
Remove rear quarter light and the drop glass will lift out off the door.
Then as they say "replacement is the opposite of removal"

ok done this yesterday, more or less as above, fairly straightforward, found a break in the ribbon cable also that was causing the door lights to flicker, right at the connector end, so new cable for that being ordered tommorrow! unless anyone knows how to repair a ribbon cable?
