Dont know if this has been on this site before but i have just seen some merc speedo's showing silly speeds.

Certainly a contradiction in dials. Speedo flat out, rev counter flat out but the fuel guage full!!! Anything that could allegedly go that fast would make an awful dent in the wallet.
