How hard and messy is the folding Mirror retrofit ?

Steve (MBenzNL) states that for some of the newer models it is very hard to find refurbished folding mirror motors.

How popular is the product in Europe and how many people would want it ?

sometimes I wonder what it is that you read...as it often is not what I wrote...

I wrote that on the newer MB models (like the W203) the control units in the doors differ for cars with folding mirrors and that if one is blessed with a non US spec car - one is due to get some new door control units unless one has a memory driver seat.
