How many E63s’ are in the UK

ok so I’m curious.......
I had a look on “how many are left” website to see how many E63s’ are on the road in the UK. It would appear that there are 92. Does anyone have any idea of either finding out the proportion of estates to saloon sales or the way of finding out accurately numbers of the model type?

Unfortunately the DVLA data uses inconsistent naming conventions for variants of the same car and, as you have found out, don't necessarily distinguish between estate and saloon body styles.

Other than by contacting MBUK, I know of no way you could determine the numbers sold but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an answer.

I think the how many are left website works off on how many taxed cars are left. If it’s untaxed it doesn’t register. Although I could be talking out my anal tract but I’m sure someone mentioned this on another site.

It shows those that are SORN’ed as well as taxed

How many left is a waste of space. Its so inaccurate its not worth looking at. Unfortunately as cars can be registered in free text so many will not show up correctly.

Curiosity sake ok, but real figures, not accurate by an means.

If you just put E63 AMG in you get this list of variants with 2017 numbers which totals 1650 cars!
