my 1999 clk that clkclive has worked his ass off to cut out the rust and respray and rust proff , will be up for sale next year 150k miles 230k black , orion grey leather in great condition , but not much sevice history , i have done alot to her since getting her and she needs to go so i can get my cl55 ;) how much can i ask for her ?

The 208s have hit bottom price wise to be honest and I know this might not be what you like to hear but I`d say 2k maxx

The right car the right wheels plus suttle mods equals good money and one sold on ebay three weeks ago lowered, wheels, silver with black pano style roof like mine
dvd player plus screens in the rear headrests (not for me) plus needing a bit of bodywork and indicator stalk was broken it made £4600 1999 320 CLK

£1500

^ that sounds a lot?

There was the slighly newer shape one on our road for sale the past few months looked great. CLK320 Petrol, blue with grey leather no idea what options over and above that and was up for £6500 then down to £5500 before its now gone.

Someone got a great looking car for that. Private plate it looked like new.

it was a 53 or 54 plate from memory not sure what model number that makes it.

You can get a choice of 209's for £4600, they may not be perfect, but a 1999 with not much service history, £2k max. This is from somebody is who watching CLK prices every day looking to buy one.

Im afraid with that sort of mileage, the car will never be worth more than £2k as a private sale.

Even as a dealer, I only got £3000 for a pretty mint car with 50k on the clock - 2001(Y). Thats sold with warranty etc.

Just have a look at completed auctions on ebay. No 1999 CLK 320s that have sold for anywhere near £4k that I can see.
