£784 with 8½ hours to go looks like too much money for this really rusty 190E 2.5-16. If there's such bad rust in visible places God only knows what the rest of it's like.

I agree it's a mess of a car (breaker without a doubt IMHO), but the running 2.5-16 engine and ancileries are worth as much as the current bid amount.

You've still got a shed load of spares to use or resale - hence people are bidding on it.

Full leather trim
Gearbox (and all parts for a conversion if needed)
ASD diff
Electrical items - ASD relay, fuel pump relays, fuel pumps, Bosch K-jet system etc etc.
Misc parts - brakes/suspension bits, panels, bodykit, speedo, wheels etc etc.

I personally think almost any 2.3/2.5-16 that runs and is largely complete is worth £1k+

That's a steal - and with manual gearbox, which is what a Cossie should have.

It is a steal but for parts only as I'd say that had a severe rear end smack at some point.
