Looking for some nice 18" wheels for the summer (and some advice). Seen a lot of nice 18" wheels on eBay, but there aren't any I like with the exact offset my car needs (54 w209 320 avantgarde)

The fitment most of the wheels I like the look of are like this:
  • Front: 2 X 8.5 X 18" 5X112 ET35 ALLOY WHEELS
    Rear: 2 X 9.5 X 18" 5X112 ET35 ALLOY WHEELS

    or
  • 4 X 8.5 X 18" 5X112 ET35 ALLOY WHEELS

This is the chart I was looking at:
Code:
	18x7.5	37	225/40R18 AMG
 	18x7.5	37	225/40R18	18x8.5	30	255/35R18	AMG
 	18x8.5	30	225/40R18	18x9.5	18	255/35R18	AMG
 	18x8.5	30	225/40R18	18x8.5	30	225/40R18	Brabus
 	18x8.5	30	225/40R18	18x8.5	30	255/35R18	Brabus
 	18x8.5	30	225/40R18	18x8.5	30	245/35R18	Brabus
 	18x8.5	30	225/40R18	18x9.5	35	255/35R18	Brabus
 	18x8.5	28	225/40R18 Carlsson
 	18x8.5	28	225/40R18	18x8.5	28	255/35R18	Carlsson
 	18x8.5	28	225/40R18	18x10	30	255/35R18	Carlsson	RA: 1, 4, 9, 11
 	18x8.5	28	225/40R18	18x10	29	255/35R18	Carlsson	RA: 1, 4, 9, 11

Looks like the rears match a Brabus description but not the front? Would I need spacers and most importantly are they safe?

I plan to use these wheels for when I go Nurbergring in the summer so any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated. Also not sure if it helps but the car doesn't seem lowered - Not certain though.

Thanks in advance for any help :D

Not sure if 'hub centric' spacers would mean anything to you but i was informed these are ones that should be used and not some crappy brand or cheapo type ones.

Remember it's the spacers that are going to be holding your wheels to the hub, not the hub holding your wheels if that makes sense.

so what ever you decide or get ,make sure they are pretty darn good.

Not sure if Nurburg and spacers actually go together? i'm sure someone will come along and put the record straight.

H&R & Eibach spacers have TuV approval - 'nuff said.

Hub centric are the only sort I would fit and as above a brand that has the approved.

Not like in the old days with your 10" mini wheels and basically just big washers pushing the wheels out.

Ideally I would prefer none :)

I have H&R on the widebody when i use the split rims and they are fantastic, not even a little bit of wheel wobble..

From the wheel spec you have listed, it seems both sets are replica wheels, can you not find any genuine ones you like the look of?

And also both sets will fit a w209 without spacers, unless its a CLK 55 you have.

I keep missing out on the only genuine AMG wheels I like the look of, like the E63/CLK63/AMG 6s rims.

I quite like the CL63/AMG 4s rims and also the triple 5 spoke AMG 7s - these are the ones with the et35 fitment. So yes, they seem to be all replicas.

On that note, are Ronal any good? Have read conflicting stories about replicas and OEM wheels via google and I'd guess you guys know better.

Also if I'm going down this road, what combination of bolts and spacers would I need for 2 X 9.5 X 18" 5X112 ET35 on 255/35/18s on the rear of the car. Ideally I want the wheels to be juuuuust under the wheel arch for that squat/fatass/widebody look.

Thanks in advance.

Oh and its the 320 Avantgarde (petrol) I'm looking for advice on.

Make sure you fit longer wheel bolts / hub studs otherwise the threads will strip, wheels may fall off under stress.
