First of all, apologies that my post came across as both argumentative or/and immature. It was not my intention (and never is).

The point of my emoji was merely one of surprise at your answer to the question.

I do find it odd that folk (not aimed at anyone in particular) have issue with the theft of keyless entry cars (especially given there’s a very simple ‘double press disable’ procedure) yet seem to make out that cars of years gone by were invincible in comparison.

My answer might have sounded ****y, so I too apologise.
This is a very strange post, with not much information to hand.
Everyone trying to help, some saying only drive a 50 year old car!
Everyone has a different opinion!

Easily remedied by double clicking the fob to turn off keyless and putting the key in a faraday pouch or tin.

The bad press keyless gets is ridiculous when the above couple of actions render keyless theft nearly impossible.
Add in an Autowatch Ghost and the car would need to be trailered away. It won't be moving otherwise.
But those who dislike keyless don't or won't understand that.

That's exactly what I do, plus a whopping great steering lock to be on the safe side.

No need.....slide hammer and a screwdriver and she's gone. Easy peasy.
