A business colleague of mine had a Air France boarding card for a flight from Geneva to London and absentmindedly ended up boarding a Turkish Air flight to Ankara - despite his boarding card having been visually inspected no less than three times during the process. It was only the presence of someone sitting in "his" seat that triggered him checking that he was on the correct flight

T5 at Heathrow has the facial recognition scanners which are supposed to match up boarding pass to mush.
Well, two weeks ago Mrs S & self managed to swap boarding passes.
