How serious is Mercedes C class subframe failure?

Hi , you could put a very strong case that all Mercedes may suffer from rusty subframes , just like Lancia in the late 1970s.

I hope not but I will book my car in again for another subframe inspection.

Unfortunately Mercedes are living on a reputation earned many years ago.

Hi , I fully understand that members on the forum have perfect A , C and E class cars that are perfect.

However, my C207 is no more due to !! ( Most of us know the problem )

Without reading the entire thread its god damn serious to the point MB are replacing them for free. You don't want the rear of the car separating from the frame do you which is what happens.
