How to Bathe a Cat

1. Thoroughly clean toilet.

2. Lift lid and add shampoo.

3. Find and soothe cat as you carry into to bathroom.

4. In one swift, fluid move, place cat in toilet, close lid and sit on top.

5. Cat will self agitate and produce ample foam. (Ignore noise from inside toilet, cat is enjoying this)

6. Flush toilet 3 or 4 times. This provides power rinse, which is quite effective.

7. Have someone open bathroom and outside door, stand as far from toilet as possible and quickly lift lid.

8. Perfectly clean cat will rocket out of the toilet and out of house, where it will air dry.

Sincerely,

The Dog

Very good, although I must say there seems to be scope for very unpleasant disaster!

Although trickier, it is more effective and more economical with shampoo if 2 cats are done at the same time. ;)

I put my psychology a-level to good use recently and trained the cat to sit, good old classical-conditioning there! :)

It's not even my cat, it belongs to the neighbour, although she spends a huge amount of time here because she can pester me all day while the rest of the world is at work!
