How do you change the indicator repeater bulb in W210 n/side wing mirror? I also have a problem with the wing mirror electric adjustment, it works in one direction but not another - is this also connected with the bulb problem?

I had an issue on my E55 when I first got it as in the driver side mirror folded fine but the passenger side only folded about a quarter. I manually folded the passenger side and sprayed some oil onto the hinges etc and gave it a few manual open and closes and sure enough they are working fine now.
I had intermittent problems with the indicator initially also, took off the complete housing simply pulls off - you may want to get that verified by someone on the forum as mine was pot luck it came off without too much struggle. I cleaned the connector which is quite obvious once the mirror is off and then re-connected and tested and the indicator works fine now.
I believe you can buy a complete indicator from main dealers if the led's are truely gone though.
