I have suffered for some time with the satnav disks not ejecting or can't be read. So after following this great site

I thought I would have a go. But there are slight changes to comand 2.5. So here's a "how to" with pics. Of course you do this at you own risk.
After removing the centrol consol take out the comand module as a whole so you have this. Remove 3 gold screws (on each side). 2 here one on side of unit
Remove 2 Torrex screws on right hand side with bracket
Remove on each side 2 black screws with metal plate and a torrex screw at the bottom front. Bottom unit is the satnav drive
Lever off bottom plate
Remove front 4 screws (this picture shows the front but the unit is upside down)
Remove left hand screw
Remove 2 screws at rear
Pull back two gray side toggals and pull white ribbon out
Lift out drive from body note wire connector underneth needs to be pulled out befor removing completely
Remove 1 screw at rear
Remove connection ribbons and connectors from upper PCB
(This also shows positions of 2 gold screws holding roller mechanisam one top right and one top left on side).
Remove top single screw from PCB and remove PCB. Then remove 2 screws for roller mecanisam.
Careful of these springs and undo
The roller can now come out and be cleaned. follow instructions from web site at start of this "how to" as its the same mechanisam. Also clean the lens as on the web site.
Install in reverce.
