I have lost my keyfob and a new one is on order. I have the spare key, which is without the electronic fob.
I could get into the car and start the engine, but the alarm is activated; with the hazard lights flashing double speed and the interior lights on (thank God the siren is not blaring).
I have tried removing the battery for 1 hour and reinstalling it, but the alarm still activates. I have also tried removing the relevant central locking fuses to no avail.
I have to get the car MOT'd tomorrow, and the keyfob won't arrive until then...
Any ideas anyone?
