So I guess a Caterham with 1037 bhp/tonne would probably be "quite nippy"

A 0-60 time of less than 3 seconds would suggest it won't be a problem in the dry at least.

IIRC Bristol used to be very cagey about releasing technical details of their cars - like Bentley and Rolls Royce used to - but there's quite a lot disclosed in that article vtd posted.

They were nice to look at,, but a little bit smelly if left out in the rain,, their rear arches would crumble away, I will have a look at a newer model

FWD, Cant put the power down, etc etc - I have heard them all before!

The new engine is being built now, and will be in the region of 500hp, perfectly tractable and civilised around town. Just need to get more power to catch up with the big boys ATM!

Last year at TOTB6 we embarrassed a lot of top notch machinery with the 1600 engine, the new 2.0 is certainly going to turn some heads
