How to get rid of a scratch?

Hey don't wear yourself out! Looks fine to me, you could always just wash the car when you know someone is coming to view. Water droplets always throw the eye away from from scratches as you focus on drops on top!
Don

I couldn't get a close up of the scratch because of the reflection, so I thought I'd just show of my 'buffness' ;-p

Open a photobucket account. Upload your photos to that and post the link in here. Simples.

Other accounts are available..:D

Cheers! LOL!:D

Just common sense and a bit of elbow grease, that's all it takes pal. It cost me 20p for the sandpaper, £8 for the Turtle Wax Colour pack and £6 for the T-Cut, so call it £15 all in and it looks stunning.

I'm really impressed with that Turtle Wax Colour Magic, I'd recommend it to anyone for the sake of £8.

I'll tell you what though, I don't know how people get on with having a black car. It would drive me mad!

That's my last go.

A big improvement. :thumb:

Good job there SP, i'd be happy with that - stick on a couple of hundred on the price for your troubles :-)

I wish!

I'm doing it as a favour for the father-in-law.

I've had to get it MOT'd, serviced and give it a good clean-up. To be fair though, it has only done 32k so it's pretty spotless inside, I just had my work cut out slightly with the exterior.

I think you're right about the Turtle colour waxes. We get them here in NZL with a lipstick of colour attached to the bottle, you rub the colour lipstik into the scratch and colour polish over the top. I use it on the plastic sill covers and lower side panels on the 124. Hides the stone chips quite well - for a while!!

Did MOCAS get a photo of that?:thumb: Bet you kept the bullet though , just in case you get disbelievers from another forum doubting you ?

I have kept the bullet, yes.

It's a strange coincidence really, me and my pal were on the way to rob a Post Office with a gun & machete and fancied a bit of rape on the way but this drunk Steven Seagal bloke in a Mitsubishi Evo knocked me out with one punch...

How much is it over there?

My Dad went over to NZ on a motorbiking trip for his 50th birthday and he absolutely loved it.
