45 psi seems a lot?

It's good but just doesn't handle aswell. Checked out on star and no problems came up. I'm running 3.2 bar front and rear and have p zeros with good tread

I run mine on 36FR and 38RR, which are pressures from the manual for half load.

Try these and see if it improves handling. With your pressure being so high, the tyres are quite a bit harder and perhaps not working as well as they should with the suspension

im only running 3.2 bar as it says in the fuel cap. thought it was really high
