How to remove and repair center consoler cup holder / ashtray lid. This was pretty easy as long you take the time and don't stress. Some clips parts feel like they going to break but if you remove it right way they are fine and no sharp tools only plastic for panels and parts like that. Going to remove this unit again when replacing all front trims then consider to put some special grease there to get better glide. Some may say its a bad idea but think if you put not to much it will help, you can se in the video that they use some kind of white grease from factory.

Hi - the clip or spring that holds/locks the two leaves of the centre console together has broken on mine - can this be accessed easily and a the clip/spring replaced ?

I have been quoted £590 + VAT and fitting for the centre console to be replaced!!
