how to remove scuff marks from a bumper

Woke up this morning to notice that someone has left a black scuff mark, probably by pulling out behind me, on my rear, right corner bumper. Its a silver W221. Can anyone tell me the most cost effective way of removing it, without leaving too many marks on the bumper. Thanks in advance.

If it is black its likely to be rubber or similar and should come off quite easily with a hand polish, do you have any in the garage/shed/car?

If its a scuff then a light T Cut will remove it

Thanks guys, been so busy hadn't been able to upload a pic. It was black, I had it removed with t-cut, however faint scratches have been left behind.
