Make a list of all parts less than perfect and order from Mercedes.
Replace all rubber items such as window seals, door seals etc.
Warn credit card company of impending meltdown.

Remove Interior and take to your favourite trimmer.
Convince him to drop his order of 1000 seats for a train, instead trim your G500 seats.

Choose a different, but not too in yer face, stitch design.

Choose a leather colour that will go with the new exterior colour and also one that wont look too dirty, after all this vehicle does get used.

Door Card Inserts being prepared:

Rear Boot Kiddies Seats Complete

Updates to follow as the stone chip gets further attention.

I love the stitching.
Shame you're changing the exterior colour - I like it.
No doubt whatever you do it will look stunning though - you've got "form" !!!

Should've just bought a chipex kit :D

There is going to be a slight colour change, still green (sort of) but not this green.

haha no, ill keep you guys in suspense.. Hopefully the body will be painted by next weekend anyway.

Reminds me of you E500 that went in for a screen?

Your credit card company, trimmer and bosyshop must love you more than the wife does right now! :D

Good luck with the errr stonechip

Can anyone tell the colour from the above picture?

hint: It wont show its true colours this time of year...

Is it the designo blue/green flip paint that was a special order on SL's during the 90's?

Oh it could be the Emerald metallic that's available on the new S class.

Looks like that yes, a member here has a sl60 in that colour that was on display at brooklands.
