How to select gear on E63 M157?

Another non believer in SB. Have you actually tried one?

I won't harp about how they work or try and convince that they work.

My point is if you've got so much power that you could easily spin the tyres if you wanted too and you're actively limiting throttle input I dunno why you'd need a faster throttle response.

If your car needs it or you like it then great for you.

What the so much speed thats in C mode which starts off in 2nd gear. That's my point!

I've never understood the need to modify c mode. Imo it works perfectly well as is. Maybe you could use some more low/mid range torque?

Anyway as stated before, If you like it great for you.

I'm not on the 157 torque plan, I'm on the higher RPM 156 plan with a SB installed. It suits me perfectly

There's no doubt throttle boosters work in improving the part-throttle response, though that can be done on STAR, but of course, you can't then adjust it to find what suits you best without repeated STAR sessions. If I was keeping the CLS 350, the remap originator (Big Fish, installed at MSL) would be quite happy to tweak the throttle response for me.
