How to take COMAND 2 apart and clean laser / roller

I finally got around to writing the words to go with my stack of pictures I took when I last dismantled a COMAND 2.0 unit to clean the roller (so it ejects CDs reliably) and the laser (so it reads disks better).

This is one of the most genuinely useful (to me!) posts I've ever seen!

I dismantled a comand unit to about halfway through those instructions a few years ago and then lost my bottle.

Now I have a spare unit (possibly a second spare soon!) I can take the cd unit apart and clean it with a lot less worries!
