It's upsetting to see them on any vehicle or house for that matter! I'm in a permanent state of 'cringe' at the moment  May it all end sooner rather than later.

Bah humbug ;)

I've seen a few on Vitos & Sprinters ;)

I saw one on an old shape M Class and a a W202...

He could have at least bought the OEM flag holders, even if they are about £200 each...

would look ok on the front wings of an S Class!

In my opionon flags full stop look "naff" on cars/houses...

Embassay cars look just as bad...

i've seen a A class with flags a W202 with flags but the most stupid one was a Lexus LS400 with flags and the back window covered with a flag. How embarassing is that!

Hi,

Whilst I agree these flags look 'naff' they do appear to reflect an element of patriotism, so I don't see why (some) Merc owners (snobs ;) ) should consider themselves above such open shows (of patriotism).

My only regret is that this will be short lived  i.e. our highly paid (potential) Merc owning footie superstars won't perform (again). I hope I'm wrong.

I hasten to add that neither my house nor car is festooned with these emblems but I am not against others expressing themselves :D .

Cheers,

Dieter

Sorry to appear cynical (or at least more than usual :) ) but I'm not sure that most of the flag wavers could spell patriotism let alone know what the word means.

Patriotism = People with a desire/yearning to become like Pat.
