HPI Report

I have just recieved one of these from the selling dealer.Does anyone know which symbol signifies no accident damage.Is it Condition alert (VCAR)?

I asked the dealer to write/e mail if there was any accident damage ,he said it would show on HPI.Is that sufficient to warrant any claim should I find any on lnspecting th car

Yes condition alert.

however not having a record on the HPI just means that there hasnt been a claim... small knocks etc may have been repaired out of insurance...

best to check the car over properly yourself.

No record doesn't even mean no claim, just not written off in any category!

We repair cars for insurance co's all the time but it's only recorded if the car is written off!

As an MB car (owned by them) I am sure then nothing major has happened.

So should I get more info from them or is that just not possible unless it is known which Garage?
