Hi all,

While changing my spark plugs I've noticed that my HT leads don't appear to match up with the order I think they should go in. So my question is does it really matter and would this cause an issue?

Also if anyone has any information on the correct order and which one goes to which plug I would be really grateful

Yes and yes……….have I just been had or is it April already?

Lol I know it's a stupid question but thought I better check. Any idea where I can find the info on which lead goes where? Obviously match up the K's and G's, but one K has 20.1 marked on it and the other has 11.1 and one G has 20.2 and the rest have 05.2.

Very confused!

My current order is

1A - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
1B - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
2A - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
2B - G - 112 150 06 18 - 20.2
3A - K - 112 150 07 18 - 20.1
3B - K - 112 150 02 18 - 11.1
4A - K - 112 150 02 18 - 11.1
4B - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
5A - G - 112 150 06 18 - 20.2
5B - K - 112 150 07 18 - 20.1
6A - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
6B - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2

Which is clearly wrong considering each side should start and end with a K

Just pop them on in any order , what could possibly go wrong.

Might make it faster too ? :bannana:

Ok thanks I will have a little look later. I phoned mercedes this morning to confirm which part number is for what cylinder and he is going to email me the details (hopefully). He did say that the 112 150 06 18 will fit from 1A up to 4A and thought it would be easier just to email the info rather than confirm each lead. So we shall see

Well thanks for the help everyone, the info Merc supplied lists part numbers against which coil/plug. So will refit tomorrow and hopefully cure my misfire issues

Glad you got it sorted. Any chance you could post the list in case anyone else need to reference in the future?

The lead at the bottom of every coil attaches to the rear spark plug on the individual cylinder

Just updating old posts and thought I would add the correct order for the HT leads.

Correct order
1A - K - 112 150 02 18 - 11.1
1B - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
2A - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
2B - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
3A - G - 112 150 06 18 - 20.2
3B - K - 112 150 07 18 - 20.1
4A - K - 112 150 02 18 - 11.1
4B - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
5A - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
5B - G - 112 150 01 18 - 05.2
6A - G - 112 150 06 18 - 20.2
6B - K - 112 150 07 18 - 20.1
