That's a lot of car for the money !:thumb:

I've told him after inspecting, if it is as he has described. I'd be willing to do it for £12,850.

Haha most the ones are on sale with that interior! I didnt like at first but seeing it in real swayed me.
I have a tanzanite blue one with that interior (cashmere beige code 284a) it took a while to find but I love it. I know I am in the minority here and the vast majority of CLSs have black interiors but I find the regulation black so gloomy paricularly on the CLS with its smaller side windows...Just my opinion.

I purchased my black CLS55 with the beige leather for the exact same reason.

I suppose whatever a spec of a car is as long as the owner is happy with it. Whether it's black on black or black with beige, silver on black etc etc. I wanted one in silver with black leather interior and that's exactly what I got although I waited a long time for the right example to come along. Happy hunting and get what you desire :)

Stay away from that one, he is a scammer, he claims he is from Finland and has the car with him and will only accept eBay payment. Load a BS tbh.

Which one?

The IWC one has listed since late summer and not shifted. Was £20k, now under £11k! Never got around to seeing it then as I'd already put a deposit down on mine ..

Genuine car now sold.

I'm looking to sell mine. It's a two owner car and been looked after meticulously, especially for the last 8 years for when I've had it.
What is the ceiling price on these? 58k on the clock, 2005, fully loaded with nearly every optional extra at the time.

Privately probably £14-15k?

Not a nice car really, so you will probably struggle to sell it, I would probably swap you for my 1998 Nissan micra and some magic beans, deal? :D

This sounds worrying. Why put budget tyres on a 500bhp+ car ?
Where else has he scrimped ??
Services at back street garages ?. hmmmmm......

That was my thinking as well. I appreciate these are cars built to be used but not run on a shoestring.

Budget tyres on a 500bhp motor would make me wonder.

I can appreciate using a small private garage for a normal car. My E320 will be fully serviced by my local independent garage but my CLS63 gets specialist servicing as it's not just any old car.

Depends to an extent when you sell it from my experience. Summer gets better prices; up to Christmas the worst!

That said, £15k sounds about right for private if it's a gem. You might exceptionally push above that with the right buyer. 58k miles is tasty (yes, I know the mileage doesn't really matter, but to otherwise informed buyers it always does!). This is assuming we choose to ignore this Finnish seller (who another thread claims outright to be fraud where money was lost).

I'd only seen one standard trade sale up for £20k, which looked a lovely car, but they were taking the proverbial! A clean trade IWC model should probably sit in-between.

There's always the chance the CLS55 in general will start to appreciate in coming years ...

Already have a Nissan in the garage at the moment lol... also had a 2000 nissan micra, red 2 dr... what a gem!

Really? I'm not sure as Mercedes as a brand has struggled to have many appreciating models other than the SL classics and gullwings.

Very limited amount on UK roads (as with C55 AMG), great engine, more modifiable than later models ... you never know! :dk: :thumb:

I agree. Nice condition, decent mile CLS55 I think will appreciate in time.
