Hunting for Torque at 1500rpm

Hi Guys

My w211 e220 has recently build a small problem in my case. At around 1500rpm it idles to pick up torque. I have to push the pedal a bit further for it to release it self and reach anything above 1500rpm.

Can anyone advise me on this please.??

Do the revs rise, but it feels like you have no power? If so, I'd probably start by checking turbo and see if the wastegate is sticking.

Otherwise for an engine down on power its checking all the usual things like fuel filter, fuel pump/pressure, injectors, air filter, intercooler, MAF sensor , turbo boost etc.

Best way forward is to get it checked for any tell tale fault codes and get it looked at by an independent that knows MB engines well.
