Hi folks, Happy New Year. I came across this product and was wondering if anyone uses it and whether it would be good for M156 engine??? Thanks in advance.

Surely regular changes with the correct specification oils and filters negates the need for such additives? I was of the understanding that Mercedes did not approve of additives?

Never heard of the stuff myself, but look out for a plethora of: "Snake Oil versus Best thing since Sliced Bread" replies!

If YOU think it makes a Differrence, then use it!:D

I’ve not used it, but Wynn’s treatment products have been around for donkeys years and always had a good reputation.

If you have a problem with a sticky lifter it’s a low-cost / low effort punt that might cure it, but I wouldn’t use it as some sort of “preventative measure”.

Thanks for all the responses :)

I was actually thinking in terms of precaitionary reasons. Tasos recently uploaded a video of lifters that he left immersed over several nights and showed the lack of oil penetration within the lifters resulting in sticky pins. That got me thinking?

Just an update, I been running with the lifter treatment for the last few days and can report that the engine is now running quieter and sounds very smooth. My grease monkey says it can be left in there but I'll be changing the oil anyway. Hopefully its freed and oiled up the lifters to last for a while, its definitely worked!
