hi folks about to replace eng mounts on w203 c200 coupe had vibration which i thought was torque convertor but my local indie tells me its engine mounts have replaced trans mount and vibes have decreased considerably and indie says leave it for awhile yet so im planning on getting the parts in ready but ive discovered both hydraulic and solid rubber mounts available i realise solid would probably not eliminate vibes but would probably outlive hydro mounts has anyone tried both ?? cheers gazza

Rubber is cheaper than hydraulic and rubber is solid.

Fit the hydro mounts, which I believe are what's fitted at manufacture. Those mounts lasted more than 100k miles on both Mercs I owned.
