We looked around La Rochelle and further inland & south around Saintes, Saint-Jean-d'Angely and Cognac. Nice area.

Overnighted in Niort when we picked up the Sunbeam Talbot, but that took us 5 hours to get home! Lost 4th gear around Angers, so max of 65 mph.
