I achieved something today.....

Ok, don't laugh......drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrumrolll........

Today i did my first unassisted oil, plugs and filters change !!! :bannana:

Managed to round off the oil drain bolt though..... anyone got a spare knocking around ?

Seems simple ? , don't forget this is a man who filled up a vw golf with too much oil, it started to smoke, i rang dad who said you need to drain some oil out ( this being by the side of the road) , so i undo the sump plug thinking i'll drain some out, its red hot, i drop it and lose all the oil out of the car at the side of the A303.

So today i am proud of myself, and i shall be having a beer tonight to celebrate.

EDIT :- I have also just found last nights pizza in the fridge, :bannana: life doesn't get any better than this does it ?

nice one - I just put air in Edna's tyres nothing lurking in the fridge other than fit for the dogs though

Its the small things that make us feel good :-

Getting the tyre pressures just right
Topping up the water / oil
Touching in that stonechip and getting it just right
Changing a broken bulb.
Filling up the screenwash after is has been run out for a week

I love 'em all, life is good !!
