I have an EBD, ABS inoperative see owners manual message. I hooked it up to the iCarsoft and got the attached messages. Does this mean both rear wheel speed sensors need replaced. Many thanks.

You can check all four corners "dynamically" whilst driving with the iCarsoft , so set it to live data and go for a drive and see what one is giving the wrong feedback data compared to the other three.

Cheers will try that tomorrow.

is that only with version 2? I only have MB V1.0, cheers

I'm always suspicious if two or more sensors give faults at the same time.

As above test and see if there is something, even if just a connector, that could cause simultaneous failures.

I have the CR Pro (too many different cars in the household) , and you can check all the sensors at the same time.

Spoke to someone at iCarsoft and they suggested it could be an ABS module or the cables that are faulty.

I just had the same on my e class. Rear right sensor fault. Replaced the sensor first as not too difficult to do but after clearing the code I got another fault re signal. So impulse ring needed replacement. Lots of suspension has to be undone to access ring on end of driveshaft so I chose to get my friendly local garage to replace which they did. £150. All good but mechanic did say it was not the most enjoyable task. ( that's a polite translation of what he said) Wait for it! Now 3 weeks later, dash lights back on. icarsoft back out and now the left rear sensor is causing the fault. So I will have to go through the process once again. Lucky me. As you say with two faults at the same time it may be something else.

Hi I have a message component E1/6e3 iin module E1/6 is faulty but I don’t know we’re is this component. Can someone help me?

I’ve spoken to a few folk and done some research, is it possible that the issue is the ABS control unit and needs replaced?

Had car at Mercedes and both rear impulse rings are needing renewed they said. I have bought both genuine parts from eBay and I am going to take it to a local garage to ask for a quote. Anyone got any idea how much I can expect to pay?
