Have to admit I’m just not a Ferrari fan. You buy a fantastic engine according to Enzo. The rest is free he said. Thank god it is. They all look good in red I’ll happily agree.

More Testamarrone than Testarossa.

Funny how its come into fashion once again as well as brown interiors.

10 years ago we would have screamed in horror.

Rest assured, they still scream. It's an arcane choice.

"Brown in Town" isn't much more than shoes.

Not quite as bad as the Ferrari FF I saw in metallic purple with yellow striping around every panel I saw recently

I've seen that FF! It was hideous. It was getting on the chunnel a few weeks ago (the week of Le Mans) - i think was part of the Cannon Run. It was with some equally hideously coloured Porsches, Lambos and McLarens. I just hope it was a wrap and not paint.

Like it, would look great with a light interior. 🙂👍
Light seats and door panels give the impression of greater space.

The challenge is what to do with the colour of the dash which can be reflected back at you by the windscreen.

The Testamarron has done only 6,600 miles on the clock after 34 years. Call it 200 miles a year.

Estimate $150 - 220k. at RM Sotheby's auction in three weeks time.

Buy it with your eyes. Just don't look at the performance figures. (0-62 in 5.5)

Here's the Auction link:

I don't think i could ever have a dark coloured interior any more - light colours for me just make for a much more pleasant place to be. The S212 is Alpaca Gray which i love and my old Alfa is tan (though the tan carpets on that might be considered a touch overkill!). Im surprised so many cars still have black when there are these other options available.

aka the Tossa Rossa (like most Ferraris)...?
I'd quite like a 355 with a proper gearstick. I saw one at the weekend and it reminded me how pretty they are. One thing i can't understand is why anyone would want a Ferrari that doesn't have the iconic H gate. Maybe im just too romantic about it!

No, it's not my garage, I stumbled across this car show room a few of years ago.

I'm not sure what I find most impressive, the size of the original purchasers male genitalia to spec a car of this value in brown or their great (IMO) tasteful choices.

I like brown over tan - on sports cars and supercars especially.

I should have bought a Bornite W124 500 E from @jaymanek a few years ago. It was a lovely car and if I had sold it today then I could have retired on the proceeds!

Unfortunately Mrs D wasn’t just less keen - it invoked quite a reaction - so sadly it was not to be. She had a similar reaction to Macademia on a Porsche 997.
