Is it a facelift 430? If so the window should drop when you open the door, my CLK does this, however I'm told the pre facelift models do not do this.

if you have a facelift model and it does not drop you will need to "re-learn" your windows so they drop when you open the door...

dont know if the pre facelift models can be coded on star to drop when the doors open.

The CDI acceleration delay. I will test drive the petrol version of whichever I want to buy next. Hopefully the petrol doesnt have it. I was after the torque of the diesel engine, but didnt realise how annoying the delay would become

There's a software update that fixes the delay. Take it to your dealer and they can sort it. I had it sorted on my E350 CDI Coupe. Yours has the Brabus chip fitted as it is the Grand Edition and so it should fly

There was a post about holding it in the down pos for 10 seconds then in the up pos...

but I cant find it, hopefully someone else will clarify.

I hate driving up and down the country most days in my Vauxhall Combo delivering parcels when I could be driving my E270 cdi, but if i did not drive the van then i could not afford the 270 , at least I get to drive the car sometimes
