I have an 80s theme party this weekend, ideas needed!

I've got a 40th this weekend and the dress code is either Halloween (boring) or 80s style.

Unfortunately I wasn't around much in the 80s, I was busy being born and learning to walk , so I can't really rely on my memory .

At the moment this Madness sort of thing is winning

Cheap Asda suit, maybe a black tie and the trilby I bought a few years ago. Can't do sunglasses though because I wear glasses and without them I'd be walking into things.

Any more (cheapish and easy to sort out before the weekend-last minute again) ideas out there?

I would do the Paul Calf lounge lizard look - easy to find a tragic tie in a charity shop needs to be ribbon thin though, like at school where we used to wear the tail of the tie as the bit that showed , Blow-Dry hair , Piece of cake .

slim physique needed, you could always go as this man, google fila vintage setanta and you can buy the retro tennis stuff online. also suggest watching the film the business always good for ideas and a nice SL in a not so nice gold paint. post some pics taken at the party
