I might be missing something here...

    ... but how are the floor mats in my W215 supposed to be fixed to the floor? There are holes in the mat but I can find no corresponding fasteners on the floor. It's slowly driving me nuts having to adjust the driver's side mat every time I get in the car.

    Car:
    C43 AMG with a 55 engine and supercharger, E55 AMG, S500, etc
    They attach with plastic clips that attach to the seat. A dealer should stock them.

    Just checked with the parts department of my local dealer and was informed the floormat retaining mechanism on the W215 consists of floor-mounted studs at £27.00 each. It is a workshop job to fit them too. Why on earth were these not fitted at the factory!

    penny pinching in the extreme. My 22 year old Audi coupe has them fitted as standard.

    That's my point really. I can't believe MB would leave them off a flagship model to save a few euros. Any other W215 owners care to comment?
