Luckily for me the chap who caused the parking ding tracked me down at Bedford Autodrome and paid me £200 for the damage, restored my faith in humanity a little.
How did he managed that - I'm guessing the ding was caused elsewhere?

Also, how are you finding the gearbox for reliability?
Very different route to my track car... I'm glad mine is stone chipped as I don't have to worry about it.
Good choice on coilovers! Should make the world of difference. I've just bought a cooper s for the Nurburgring... front wheel drive

I'll eventually sell this car to a similar track day gentleman and therefore it needs to look good and have the right spec, pretty much a GTS replica being a hardcore track day car but bearable to drive there and back. Full-on race car spec isn't nice to drive on the roads at all.
