hello to all

today i placed my order for my new car, i was tempted to go for the fully speced 3.2 cdi sport but that would not be ready untill june, and they had another 2.2 cdi in white. as it was for the other half i decided that she did not really require the large engine as it is just for transporting the little ones about in. so heres the spec, may have forgot bits but will update if i rememeber

2.2 cdi sport in white
command,ipod,lingutronic,bluetooth
panoramic roof
17" alloys (decided due to the cost of replacement tyres- ladies and curbs)
half heated leather ( child seats would mess/strech full leather)
memory seats both sides
lux climate control
parktronic
AMG bodykit
sport specs (brakes, suspention, steering wheel ect ect)

what i manged to get for free!
2 child seats with booster seats
boot liner
luggage net
rear and side sun blinds
cup holder
a few pens
umbrella
paint protection

champange reception on collection

AND THE ALL IMPORTANT BRABUS CHIP FOR £400 fitted

now all i need to do is try and swap my w203 with the other half. As my CLK will be going soon.:(

i was in the showroom for 5 hours and me and my brother had another coffee/ hot chocolate marathon and between us we consumed 29 cups, so we can offset the costs against our fuel to get there, we normally do that while we are wating for the car to be serviced.

Well done! Should we guess that this is a W204 C class?:dk:
I love puzzle!;)

yep indeed a w204, i saw a customers one in whilte which was going out to be delivered, and the two most stunning colours are black and white, and as there were too many black w204s i decided and also liked the look of the white and chrome. but i wont be driving it that much, but will try and give my other half the w203.

Congrats, sounds like a nice car. So out of interest what is the lead time on that one, or is it available from stock?

My BMW order was placed with the factory on 30th March and I'm getting it delivered next week - quite impressed with that, especially as it was supposed to be end of May!

The car is from the MB holding stock, its in the country some where they have to locate it and transport it down and prepare it ect. i should be collecting it in 10 days max. Its only got 4 miles on the clock and should have no more than 6 by the time i take collection of it.

Excellent, sounds like you got a great deal too. Nice one, looking forward to seeing pictures of it...

All you need now are the white ribbons and you're in business! :D

Mercs should be silver...

Nah! Just joshing, am very envious, enjoy :D

Well done, looking forward to seeing the pictures.

well done... white... really is getting popular

And remember, after washing it, on no account should you drive it again as it will be dirty in 5 minutes. Believe me, I've had a white car.

A black one will be dirty after 1 minute.............

I have owned quite a few white cars and they aren't too bad.

I still prefer Cubanite to most other colours...................

Your right, black & white are the two hardest colours to keep clean, I've had both & now realise why silver cars are so popular.

................one of the reasons why most Austin Allegro's were ordered in a browny-beigey colour.

The other reason was it didn't show the rusting wheel arches.................

White cars are perceived to be safer because light reflects off them differently to dark cars. This apparently gives the illusion they are bigger than they actually are and therefore other drivers give them more room causing less accidents! Congrats on the new motor :thumb:

To a point, true...........

I just think its an excellent colour. Neither true silver or gold but with its own personality and identity.

OK............so that was was all waffle.....
It just doesnt show the dirt ! ! ! ! !

Just don't go out in the snow.....

lol, love the snow comment, hopefully it wont smow anytime soon or it will be an expensive snowball. Must find a way of keeping it clean, although other suggestions are right id only was the silver clk once a month with a quick rinse of the hose. will seee how white looks when its dirty and how often it will need cleaning.

Just keep the windows clean and it will look fine from inside! :)
