E250 Estate
Hi Guys

This is my first post so hello. I bought my first Mercedes a few weeks ago (an E 250 Estate 2013) When I bought it I was assured that my I Pod which at that time was a Classic would play through the system with full functionality.

I quickly discovered that whilst it played through the USB port I wasn't able to access any of the playlists on the I Pod. I then probably made the mistake of shelling out £350 for a brand new I Pod Touch thinking that may solve the problem only to find that the car doesn't recognise the new I Pod either through the USB port or the Media interface connection.

Anyone had a similar problem and is there a solution?

Cheers

Are you using the correct media interface lead? There is a MB website somewhere that lists comparability of phones/iPods against each model of car. Are you able to Bluetooth stream your iPod and control it?

Try one media lead with 30 pin to lightening converter. Got to an apple one. And not the usb plug.
