I'm not sure that it is available, but if it is, i'm looking for an ipod kit for a 2001 W203 Coupé. I have COMAND retro fitted too.

Also, seller must be willing to post to Ireland.

There isnt a Mercedes ipod kit for a 2001 W203 sadly.

Try a Dension 500 gateway.

Would it be possible to make one that plugs into the CD changer port? I'm not too worried about controlling the ipod through the HU or steering wheel, just want the sound without using a transmitter.

Thats what the Dension does.

The cheapest solution is to wire in an AUX input so you can play any mp3 player via the headphone jack, through the comand system. Obviously there will be no control or charging of the ipod from the car though.
