I6 to V8??

Hello. A Jaaayg XJ6 owner here but I have fallen for the noise of Mercedes v8 engines. Possibly I will end up buying one this year.

Welcome to the forum.

The noise (V8 and supercharger) was one of the reasons I bought one - all started when I heard an SL55 close up in 2005.

Tony: The XKR is a nice car but the noise AMG V8 makes is on a different level.

Unfortunately due to insurance circumstances(age, NCB) I am out of the V8 hunt for a while (until the next C63 maybe).

It will have to be the new E-Class coupe with an oil burner. I have left deposit and waiting for a build slot confirmation. Dealer said it should be early Sept delivery.
