i980 Carsoft for resetting SRS light

As the title suggests, the SRS light has appeared on my W211 (58-plate).

Will the i980 put this light off?
I am not interested in what the problem is; as I've deduced the risk is to myself only. I just want the light off and want to know if this i980 does it before paying out good money for it.

Unless the origin of the fault was transient, you can reset the light as often as you like, it‘ll just keep coming back until you find and fix the root cause.

I had an airbag warning in an old Alfa I used to own. It was a fault in the warning lamp circuit (I kid you not) and was a problem with the airbag loom connection to the car due to water damage, not the airbag system as such.

Airbag warning lights are carefully checked come MOT time. It must illuminate to show the warning light functions, then extinguish to show there are no faults. If you have a mind, you can spoof that requirement with a simple electronic timer circuit. Not that I'm suggesting such a thing you understand.
