iCarsoft MB V2.0 HELP White screen of Death after software / firmware update any ideas?

Hey fellow MB drivers I am at a complete loss how to fix my Icarsoft MB v2.0. I have used it a a lot and it worked great for some troubleshooting and small to medium repairs on my C204. After I used it 3 weeks ago I decided to update it as you do time to time with devices BIG MISTAKE. I followed the instructions exactly and downloaded the correct software from the official website. Its was all fine and as expected until after the update finished and it restarted the unit. Now I only get a start screen then a white screen with some blinking black lines both when its on the OBO and on my PC. Naturally I looked all over the internet and found a process to format the SD card and re install the software which produced the same result, so I emailed the support but with no response after 2 weeks I called with no answer. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a copy of and older version of the software from someone and see if that works. (currently the latest which bricked it system V23.02 BENZ 12.60 BENZ_Service 11.70)

Mine had similar issues and the 'format and re install' method they suggested worked for me , very puzzling ...and annoying for you.

Some clever person on here will be along soon to help . You might get a few rum suggestions , such as throw it away and buy a newer version , put it in the freezer overnight etc.

No I do not have a back up (I probably should based on your experience) I have had the unit almost as long as I have had the car so to be honest with you if it went 'tits up' I would probably just buy a more up to date scan tool.

Thank you all for the responses. As it is for many of you Icarsoft were absolutely 0 help with no response at all. But for anyone with the same issue I found a solution. I contacted a youtuber who sent me the original software version which I saved to the micro SD card. my unit started as normal so now I am sure its 100% bad software from Icarsoft (thanks a bunch) but it gave me an error that the software isn't a match to the units serial number. so I installed the new software through normal update method with the downloader and and one by one changed the files in the Firmware folder out with the older version and tried to turn the unit on. when I changed out a file in the firmware folder UAP_RESETGN which I assume is the Registration it works and has the new software as well. If anyone needs the old version of the software I have it. Regards Alex
